THE PILATES STUDIO

Good News! We are slowly and carefully reopening!

We are booking private, duet sessions and reduced size tower classes in the studio. We will be continuing our online mat sessions too, so there are plenty of options to stay strong and healthy.

We look forward to welcoming you back, but some things have had to change.  Please read the following guidelines carefully, these are for your safety and our own:

  • Do not come to the studio if you feel unwell, or if you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID 19.
  • The distance between the apparatus is 2 metres. And we ask you also to please social distance while you are in the studio.
  • Please come dressed in workout attire so that you don’t have to use our communal changing room. The shower cannot be used.
  • We will be working with a mask and you are welcome to wear one too.
  • We are asking each client to wash their hands on entering the studio before you leave. We will also be washing our hands between every session.
  • All surfaces will be continually sanitised with ethanol 70% (recommended by the pharmacist) between clients including door handles and all parts of the apparatus that have been touched.
  • For Tower Classes please bring a towel 180cm x 60cm to cover the entire mat. The small towels from the studio will not suffice. You can purchase nice large non slip towels for 30€ at the studio.

We Are
THE STUDIO

At The Pilates Studio we teach classical Pilates maintaining the integrity of Joseph Pilates’ original work in its purest form. We use quality Gratz apparatus built from the original design and mechanical specifications of Joseph Pilates’ own equipment.

We Have
THE INSTRUCTORS

All our instructors are classically trained and have completed a minimum of 700 apprenticeship (-observation, training and teaching) hours . This rich and rigorous training guarantees the highest quality and purest form of professional Pilates instruction.

WHAT WE DO

Pilates is a workout based on the proper alignment of the body and precise execution of the exercise. When taught correctly it is very safe, incredibly effective and suitable for everyone, from professional athletes to office workers. It is proven to increase strength, flexibility and muscle tone, alleviate or eliminate back pain, improve athletic performance and aid in recovery from injury. We offer private and semi-private sessions, group mat and tower classes.
